Okahanja hou vas
This 30-minute show is recorded and produced at the studio of RUK, a Namibian producer who has worked with several big names in the local industry. Under his Infinity Records label, the producers of this particular show hope they can not only resurrect and boost his career but also be associated with a brand that has some recognition in Namibia. The producer and brainchild of this show is Hector Mawonga, a broadcast/print journalist, who is now mostly a freelance worker. He presents the show under the persona of Hekkies Bantwan, to separate his largely serious professional name from what he regards as a personal mission to uplift the artists in the community of Okahandja, who have largely been neglected. The show essentially showcases the work of five artists during one episode, with each artist stepping into the studio to introduce their work.
